urgent: Help us bless Belizean children
The Wesley Foundations at Texas A&M and Stephen F. Austin have had an ongoing relationship with the Methodist School in Corozal, Belize, for decades. We travel to Corozal every couple of years to worship with the kids, play with them, and do some light construction work on the school property. The principal of the school has asked us to help raise funds to erect a pavilion where the students can gather for assemblies or play outside, safe from the blazing tropical sun. We have raised about $7,000 of the $33,000 required for the pavilion. Thankfully, the Moody Foundation has pledged up to $10,000 in MATCHING FUNDS toward the project! We need your help to raise the money so that the students can have their pavilion. Our goal is to have all the funds raised by the next time we travel to Corozal in MAY OF THIS YEAR. You can give to the fundraiser by scrolling down to our GIVE section or by clicking on the link below. Please remember to indicate “Belize Fundraiser” in the FUND dropdown menu so that your donation is processed correctly. Thanks, and Gig ‘Em!

We are Wesley
Looking for a place to grow your faith in college? A place where Christian community intertwines beautifully with daily life? Where people know not just your name, but also your cares, your struggles, and your joys?
Then you belong at Wesley.
The Wesley Foundation at Texas A&M is the United Methodist Student Center which serves the Texas A&M and Blinn College campuses in the Bryan-College Station area. We seek to serve as an extension of the church as a whole, meeting the unique needs of college students. We are affiliated with the United Methodist Church, but students from all backgrounds are welcome.
At Wesley, we spend a lot of time together.
We worship together - responding to the love shown to us by God through singing, liturgy, and sermon.
We play together - between road trips, dances, games, and general frivolity,
we take the time to form deep friendships.
We study together - in the midst of studying for classes, we make time for studying scripture with nearly
a dozen different Bible studies each week.
We serve together - with service projects locally, out of state, and out of country,
we work to be the hands and feet of Christ in our world.
what we believe
As United Methodists, our beliefs can be summed up by the historic Nicene Creed:
"We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic* and apostolic church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
* "catholic" meaning universal

Every week we offer two evening worship services - Sundays and Wednesdays at 7pm. These services blend traditional and contemporary styles of music and liturgy for a time to relax and worship God. Our campus minister gives the sermon on Sunday nights and students speak on Wednesdays.
Dinner is served for $3 before each of these services at 6pm!
Lunch Bible Studies
Bring your lunch and participate in a student-led Bible study. During the summer we meet on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12:30-1:30pm at Wesley. In the fall and spring semesters, we’ll meet every weekday at the same time and place.
Men's and Women's Bible Studies
Each Monday at 7:00pm, the men and the women meet separately (together during the summer!) for their own Bible study. These are generally topical studies about how our Christian faith relates to our lives in college. Join us before these Bible studies for Supper Club, where we leave the Wesley building at 5:15pm and go to a local restaurant for dinner!
Freshmen Bible Study
This Bible study is just for freshmen! Led by upperclassmen, topics are chosen to highlight issues related to freshmen life.
Tuesdays 7:00pm beginning in the Fall.
Small Group Bible Studies
Small groups are a chance to build your own Bible study! Join a small group or start your own!
Join us on Sunday mornings for College Sunday School! Meeting times TBD, so check back soon! We have a discussion based lesson each week. Donuts and kolaches provided!
Wesley has three praise bands whose mission is to lead our fellow students in worship through song. We also periodically travel to area churches to lead worship with other congregations. We also have a traveling bluegrass band! Ask a staff member how to join a band!
The John Wesley Ramblers
Wesley has a bluegrass band! Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 4:30 pm during fall and spring semesters. We travel to area churches playing gospel music! Interested in having us play at your church? Contact Ben Sinclair! Our CD, Bluegrass Strangely Warmed, is available for sale! Email firstname.lastname@example.org to order. Check out a sample below!
